No, seriously people. I am running. A super long distance. On purpose. With no one chasing me. And with coaching from Team in Training and support from my peops (that's you!), we can all help in the fight against cancer every step of the way.

8 mi (7/14 Canada Road)
10 mi (7/28 Stanford Dish)

3) Share the experience on this blog.

1) Enjoy this blog.
2) Support my efforts - with encouragement and/or by making a donation to my fundraising efforts, which go toward cancer research. But even if you don't do #2, be sure to at least do #1!

Yo, peops! We did it!

Nike Marathon, San Francisco

Sunday October 21 2007

Along with 20,000 awesome people from around the world, I completed the Nike Marathon on a beautiful San Francisco Sunday in October. I am now, like, a marathoner and stuff! Sure it took me a quarter of a day, but it was amazing. THANK YOU to friends and family who supported my efforts and fundraising!

My Honorees    My Fundraising   Why I Run

OK, so it was actually called the Nike Women's Marathon. But supposedly, 5% of the runners were men. Manly men, like me. And I was secure enough in my manhood to have no problem running in a women's marathon. Can't you tell?

My goals were two-fold: to cross the finish line on October 21 and to raise at least $2500 for cancer research by October 10. I am very thankful by your support in reaching both of these goals.

My Fundraising Goal: $2500
Total Raised: $3095 (Thank you!)
